Glaciers
Rising sea levels. Erratic weather patterns. Loss of arctic animals. These are all the things that come to our mind when we think of glaciers and the effects it could have on the world. This is a global issue that we should seek more attention to. It is an issue that needs our attention because this is our only home. The impact on glaciers can cause total disaster, unless we make a difference. In Canada, an estimated area of 200 000 square kilometers is covered by glaciers and ice fields. But who is guaranteeing that they will be present in the next 200 years? This is where everybody in our society have to take action!
